Happy Easter

My planter this spring.  It's what's to come to those of you up north and what's about to be burnt to an inch of it's life in a few weeks down here.  How did it get to be April already?  All work and no play makes Denise ......

Oh well, we'll just sit here and enjoy the flowers for short time.  It's all I have then I need to get ready for another work week.

We're taking bets how long the bunny and the gnome lasts before someone steals it.

Last time, I had promised to tell you about the new furniture and the bunnies.  This is the new sectional.  It's about twice the size as the one we saw in the store. Takes up the whole living room.

I had to straighten and move things to make room for it.  Which made alley's and tunnels for bunnies to run and hide.  Dammit and Betty had a fine time making plans that first night.

All sorts of alleys in that area.  Yes, I know it's a mess. See the vacuum?  I got half done then sort of tired out.  Have a mentioned I'm gone twelve hours a day, five days a week.

That first morning, Duane said Dammit and Betty ran around the cage, and the table, then the chair, and under the secretary in the corner.  It took him over an hour to chase them home.  At one point, Duane pushed the chair against the wall and Dammit jumped back and forth over the chair.

It reminded us of when Dammit was just a little Dammit.  The first time he was let out of his cage after his neuter surgery.  He led the two of us on a merry chase.  Then he dove onto the couch.  Duane shouts, "I've got him now."  Just Duane dove to grab the rabbit, Dammit jumped over the back of the couch, over the table behind it and ran under the couch.  That's when we said to hell with it and just let the little bugger stay out.  If he's that determined.

We can't do that now, as Nippit needs her turn out.  If let Nippit out when Dammit is out she goes right for hind quarters.  Just like the furious little Nippit she is.

I've been spinning again, since there is shuttle now and I don't have to walk two miles twice a day.  This is the second bobbin and it's almost since I took this picture.  It's the fiber my friend bought me for Christmas.  One more bobbin then I will ply it.  I'm anxious to see what the finished yarn will be like.  Also, I have 8 oz of CMF Walpurgis in BFL that Duane bought me for Christmas.  I'm dying to spin that.

I finished the socks, but they are too small for me.  That's what I get for not taking a minute out of my busy day to try them on as I'm knitting.  It's in the 90's F now anyway.  Too hot to wear.  I'll have to reknit them and hope they are finished by November when it's cool enough for wool.

Every thing that has been sucking for awhile, still sucks.  But, we won't talk about that.

Butterscotch walked by my sandals and noticed they smelled like me.  He made a pillow out them.  He misses his mom.

Me and Mondays

Dear Monday,

As a day of the week, we're just not working out.  I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to X you out of my calender. It was bad enough the morning you poured the rain on me and I had to pay a fortune for a cab to go a few miles.  Then last week, with the crud and the cold sore that ate my mouth and caused me to miss two days of work.

Today, however is the final straw.  Waking up at 5am on my day off with severe in pain in my back and right side from a kidney stone, was beyond necessary.  This is it you have to go.  It's just not working out and quite frankly I'm wondering if you're out to kill me.

Sincerely yours,
The Monday Hater

I took off Thursday and Friday to get over the crud.  It was no ordinary cold sore, it took up the entire right half of my upper lip.  It was like a second degree burn.  I could barely eat or drink without pain.  A series of rinses with 50% peroxide and water, then baking soda water, followed by 50% Maalox healed it within two days.  Duane was so sweet.  Thursday night he made me a ham salad sandwich and cut it up into sixteen tiny pieces for me.

Then today, yeah, kidney stone.  I haven't had one for over a decade, but that is a pain you don't forget.  I'm consuming large doses of Vit C and drinking gallons of water, in hopes I'm better by tomorrow morning.  The State cut off my health insurance as soon as I started this job.  If I have to take tomorrow off, I will need to go to the emergency room to get a Dr. note.  Just pay them what I can every week. I have to wait until open enrollment next fall to get insurance through my job.

Yesterday, while grocery shopping I found that blue poinsettia (first picture above) and this Christmas cactus on sale.  Never saw a blue poinsettia before, so it had to come home with me.  Our little Christmas tree is blue and silver.  My mother had a Christmas cactus when I was little.  Her's was a bright pink.  They had plenty of those, but only one of this white and pale pink.  It was different, so it came along too.  That is the extent of my Christmas decorating.

I finished my Tucson socks on Friday afternoon.  You'll have to wait til this Friday to see them.  I started some socks for my mother for Christmas.  You'll have to wait for WIPW for those.

What's up with our weather down here?  When did Tucson pick up and move to New York state while I was sleeping?  I swear on Saturday, it was snowing in the valley when I walked from work to the bus home.  It didn't stick or accumulate.  It sure felt like snowflakes hitting my face.

This morning at 5am, the temperature in Tucson was 31.5F.  The temperature back home in Rochester, NY was 48.6F.  There is something seriously wrong here.  I brought all my potted plants inside and covered the ones in the planter with a sheet.

Bootsie says, "This cold stuff sucks."

Bootsie and Duane trying to keep each other warm.

I can't find my angora hat.  Saturday night I started this cowl, expanding it into a snood. I added three repeats of the pattern to make it a bit wider.  Even though I've been knitting like a mad woman all day between drinking gallons of water and making a million trips to the bathroom, it's only about 8 inches right now.  I measured from my forehead, across the top of my head and down the back and it needs to be about 20 inches.  It looks like my angora headband will have to suffice in the morning.

My mother called me this morning, just to see how I'm doing.  That threw me for a loop.  I'm the one who makes the calls.  I've been so busy and tired with work.  Thanksgiving is when I started not feeling well.  By the time I thought about calling, I knew she would be at my brother's house for dinner.

I found this SAL Wipocalypse 2012 through a blog and I'm going to sign up.  The rules are pretty liberal, so I'm hoping this is one I can follow through.  Goodness knows with all my cross stitch wips, I could use some encouragement.  Would you believe over the weekend I found another tote in my closet with even more cross stitch WIPS?  I shuttered and just quietly walked away, pretending I didn't see anything.  Nope, I don't have a problem.  Not me.

That's my update. Thanks for stopping by.

Fiber Arts and Foto Friday

A certain feline took offence to me calling them lazy in Wednesday's post, so this is what I woke up to this morning.  Out of my work bag.  No that is not the culprit.  That is the tattle tale.

This is our culprit.  Ms. Bootsie Bitey, formerly of the Scottsville Biteys, aka Yarn Hoarder with a refined taste in only the best yarns.  Silk and cashmere needs to be kept under lock, key.....

with an armed guard.

Yesterday, I cleaned the living room area in the morning.  The refrigerator guy came and fixed the fridge.  He and the manager tried to blame us, that we didn't know how to use a refrigerator.  It was some Freon thingie that was faulty.  Duane knows what it is. But yeah, we are 45 and 50 years and don't know how to use a refrigerator.  I never had one break down on me until we moved here.  I've lived in apartments for ten years at a stretch and never a problem.  We will be looking for a new place to live, probably after the holidays.  I wanted to wait until we had enough for a down payment on a house, but this place is becoming undo-able.

His new case manager came to meet us and do the the three month evaluation.  He's on a new medical plan and this one has a Dr. that does house visits.  A Dr. who make house calls, that's pretty cool.  We didn't like the new Dr. he was seeing at the clinic, so we agreed to change.  Because she is new to us, she's keeping everything else the same.  I'm still his caregiver.

Remember the sweater I showed you on Wednesday?  It now looks like this.  I'll give you all a moment to get over the cringing.

I measured it yesterday and it was two inches wider than I wanted.  Since, I was afraid of running out of yarn, I decided to rip it out and restart the smaller size.  Hopefully, I won't have to spin more yarn doing this. I really don't have time to spin more, when you consider I'm away from the house twelve hours a day.  Exhausted from all the walking.  Plus, most of the housework, running errands on my days off.  I will re-cast-on tonight in time for the bus in the morning.

Last night, I worked on the first pattern repeat of the Bellevue Cardigan.  I'm using Knit One Crochet Too, merino/silk fingering in teal.  Once I get past the pattern stitches and into the stockinette, I can add that to the bus knitting rotation.

Foto of the week:  My rose bush must have felt bad about Sunday.  Yesterday I noticed this little bud had shot out the side at the bottom.  I hadn't noticed it there before.  Then again, I've been tres busy lately.  I'm hoping when my friend comes to take us to do our errands she will stop at Lowes so I can get supplies to make a sign for my planter.  "Keep your damn hands off MY plants!"

My day includes, running all the errands, the weeks laundry and vacuuming the bedroom.  If I can muster the energy, I might spin for a bit tonight.

Happy Friday for you.  This is my Sunday and tomorrow is my Monday on a Saturday.

I Am Fit To Be Tied

I'm just fit to be tied.  It isn't bad enough I spent the day in the rain, but I come home to my flowers stolen from my patio garden.

I leave just as the sun is rising in the morning and get home after dark.  This morning, I noticed one of my roses had started to bloom. I thought how I don't really get to enjoy my little garden anymore and took a picture of the rose with my phone and set it as wall paper.

When I came home tonight it was gone, as well as my two geranium flowers.

My new miniature rose was lying sideways in the middle of my planter, like someone was going to take it, but got caught and dropped it.  I'm so pissed right now, I just want to punch someone.  Why do people think they can just take someone else's things?

My day didn't start off to well to begin with.  The weatherman lied.  The report was late afternoon scattered showers and high of 72F.  I didn't wear the "new to me" winter coat as it was in the 60's when I left, but  I did stop at CVS and bought an umbrella (just to be on the safe side) for the walk home.

Foreboding clouds over the mountains as I left for my first bus-I should have known.  When I got off the second bus, it had started to sprinkle.
I ran across the street to the gas station to use the bathroom and get my morning coffee, as I always do.

Our second meeting was like deja vu.  Our first meeting was standing in line for bathroom this past Monday.  The day it had started to sprinkle when I got off the bus. This morning the bathroom door rattled as I was just finishing drying my hands.  When I opened the door, there he was standing waiting to go in.

Me: "I recognize you."

Him: "Yeah, it was raining that day too."

Me: "We got to stop meeting like this.  I don't like the rain."

Of course, it started to pour after I got my coffee and was about to leave.  While I was standing by the garbage can gearing up for my long walk, as I do every morning.  An older man walked by.

Him: "Nice day for ducks."

Me: "I wish I were a duck.  I'm getting ready to walk two miles to work."

Him: "Where do you work?"

Me: "XYZ company.  The other side of the freeway."

Him: "I'll give you a ride."

He was about as broad as he was tall. Older man in his fifties.  I thought sure, why not.  Besides, I had my good friend Bessie I carry in my pocket.

My pretty pink tazer, Duane got me for protection.

It didn't stop raining all day.  The temperature never reached 70F, instead it dropped to the low 50's.  My team leader brought up chat on the computer.  Someone posted rain clouds and the devil.  I posted the same in return with "Yes, I have to walk to the bus stop in this."  TL asked if someone could give me a ride.  One of my teammates volunteered.  TL let me leave 15 minutes early with my teammate so I wouldn't have to wait an hour for the next bus. Yay! Then I came home.......

One of my neighbors was coming out as I was inspecting my garden, fuming.  I asked if she saw anyone messing around it.  Remember, that Sunday, I took a nap and an hour later my garden was torn up? Well, it wasn't the kitten that I had suspected, it was another neighbor's four year old son that she just lets run around, unsupervised.  The neighbor told me that this time she saw the kids from the apartment next to the manager hanging about my patio. I'm ready to put up a metal fence and hook it up to Bessie.

She had come out because she had been looking for me all weekend-she had a sack of tomatoes for me.  We had been talking about my garden, and she told me about the garden she had at her Grandma's house.  I had told her I would buy some green tomatoes from her, as I can't find green tomatoes in the stores.  Of course, those two had to check it out.

To top it off, while I was writing this post, my guy Robert Irvine got kicked off The Next Iron Chef.  I'm finished watching the show now.  I tell Duane all the time, if anything happens to him, I'm done with men.  Unless, of course Robert Irvine and Jimmy Page become available.  Robert to cook for me and Jimmy to play the guitar.  It doesn't bother Duane, as it will take two men to replace him.

Duane said, "Well, you have blog fodder.  Write a rant."  I'd rather tell old stories than have this kind of stuff happen.  How did it get to be the fourteenth of November? Sixteen more blog posts of NaBloPoMo.

I also realized today, I'm on a six day stretch til my next two days off.  When you work six days, does that mean you have two Wednesdays?  It's looking like one of hell of a hump I've got to get over.

Bootsie says, "That really sucks."

Today's lesson, there's some really nice people in this world.  Other people just SUCK!  I'm putting up a sign in my planter.  "Keep your damn hands off MY plants."

Beware of the Monday, everyone.

Plant Love

I can't remember half the stuff I wanted to post about.  I swear call center jobs suck the brains out of people by those head sets.

My grandmother always told the story of how my first words were the names of the plants in her garden.  Was my love of plants instilled in me at a young age or just inherent in my nature?  I just know the lack of green growing things sucks my soul dry.

I love seeing new growth on my plants.  I was afraid my rosebush had went dormant after the flowers bloomed.  How happy it makes me to see new shoots sprouting.

I just love the pink of this rose on my mini bush.

Carol asked if we were going to make pesto with the sweet basil.  I asked Duane and he said probably.  I'm just growing a bunch of herbs for him to use in his cooking.

Thanks for stopping by.  There is more stuff but it took all morning to download these pictures, the internet is slow today.   My ride will be here in ten minutes.

WIP Wednesday

I'm exhausted from my day off.  I need a day off from my day off.  Yes, that's right back to work tomorrow to rest up from being home.  There is a lacking in the WIPs from the finishing in the past few days.

The little sweater is finished as of this morning.  This is the hat, that is also now finished.

I just love the colors in this yarn.

A little more progress on the purple sock.

I needed to run up to Wal-mart for some buttons for the baby sweater.  Duane went with me, so we bought day passes and made a day of it.  This is the yarn I bought for Faith's Honey Bunny.

Duane saw this blouse and decided it was me and bought this and a pair of jean looking leggings.

Cellphone Luddite makes her decision.  This LG Enlighten was $1.06 with a two year Verizon contract. I told her the basics of what I wanted and she didn't try to oversell me.   I'm trying to figure out how to use the thing. Smartphone is too smart for me. The saleslady said I could download my MP3's off my laptop, but be darned if I could figure it out.  Duane said he might mess around with it tonight, while I'm sleeping.  He's back on the up all night schedule.  Besides, he has better MP3's on his desktop.

With the quick crash course the saleslady gave me, I can make calls and take pictures.  Yay, me! I figured out how to download this picture from my phone to my laptop.  Not a bad picture for a cellphone.  I guess figuring out this darn phone will be a WIP for awhile.

Duane wanted to stop at the Chinese Buffet on the way home, but he was running out of oxygen and I didn't bring a second tank.  We came back home, dropped off the Wal-mart stuff, hooked him back up with a new tank and headed in the other direction to the Greek restaurant he's been wanting to try.  We both had the Gyros plate. Ton of food for a reasonable price.

From there we stopped at Whole Foods for bunny carrots.  They had a bunch of plants outside on sale.  I picked out a sweet basil and strawberry plant to add to my growing collection.  I have a bunch of pictures I took of my garden, but I'll save those for Thursday's post.  When the snow is deep up north, you all can come here over the winter and see how my garden is growing.  We are still in the 90's, 10 degrees higher than normal.  The weather people are claiming it should start cooling off after the weekend, by a whopping 5 degrees.

This morning I need to run up to the post office on the bus before work to mail off the package to my daughter and my hexi-puff swap yarn. Duane bought my daughter a little surprise to stick in the package. (She'll read this and wonder.)   I was supposed to mail the swap by Saturday, but with my work schedule, I just couldn't get up there.  I'm the one holding up the swap, I'm admitting to it.

So much more to post, but I'll save that for Thursday and Friday.  It's all good.  Here's the best news.  My schedule for this next week, I have Saturday, Sunday and Monday off.  Three whole days. I won't know what to do, I'm so used to going to work now.   I'm scheduled of course for the Saturday of Duane's birthday, but that's ok, I'll take the point for calling in.  It will give me something to earn back the next few months, since we can't bank the points more than the twelve they give us from the beginning.

For more WIPW posts go to Tami's Ami's.

Second Verse Same As The First

Second day same as the first day, except I got a ride and didn't take the bus. Oh and no snake sightings. Damn.  More corporate speak, Power Points, high energy trainer and me yawning my head off by eight pm.

Instead of boring you to death with how I spend my afternoon/evenings and to distract you from the lack of any fibery content, I'm going to tell you a funny story.  I'm full of them.  Duane's heard all my stories hundreds of times.  Of course, we're together every day for nine years.  He tells me I need to get new stories.  Which I do, but then I tell him and then they're old by the next day, week, month, year.  So, I'm going to write them to you, to distract you from the fact that I'm seriously lacking the fiber content.  He will come by and read them.  So, actually, I'm retelling them to him too. That cracks me up. (Sorry, easily amused today. Corporate speak frying the brain cells.)

Anyway, we put this feeder up finally over the weekend.  We've had it for almost a year.  But I kept loosing the box of nectar or the feeder.  Yesterday, I noticed the hummers have found my feeder.  First two zoomed by my head and went for the feeder and zoomed off.  Then another one, zoom off.  Then another came and hovered around the bush near by.  I grabbed the camera, came back out and he seemed to have left.  Then suddenly he came up over the over side of the bush, seemed to look at me then went to the feeder.  I actually got a picture of him.  That's not the funny story.

Back in 99, I lived in a complex that was set in the woods.  Out back, I had a small wooden deck about 4 feet by 6 which I decorated with assorted plants, just like here.  A beautiful Blue Girl tea tree rose, (I won't tell the story about that plant because it ended in tears) a huge hibiscus, jasmine, gardenia, assorted hanging baskets and window boxes set on the wooden ledges.

One evening, after dinner, I'm out there watering my plants and talking to my neighbor who sitting on her deck enjoying my flowers.  She's severely allergic to flowers, but her deck was a safe enough distance that she enjoyed mine.  I walked out into the grassy area about six or ten feet away from my deck to admire the flowers, when I heard an awful loud, really loud buzzing in my ear.  Then I felt a sharp poke in the side of my head.

Oh my goodness, that a huge freaking BEE!  Side note, I'm really allergic to bees.  I might be all cool walking by a snake at night, but let me see a bee and I become an Olympic tri-athlete in a hurry.  Well, I'm running around, swatting at my head, "Shouting, it's a huge bee!  Help!! I'm being attacked by a mammoth bee!!"  That damn thing was chasing me, poking me in the head.

My neighbor is doubled over, shaking, she was laughing so hard. Tears running down her face. She said she almost wet herself watching me running around, slapping my head, waving my arms around, screaming like a crazy person.  She shouts, "Stop! It's just a hummingbird!"

I stopped, but that thing was still attacking me.  I'm still waving my arms around my head to get it to stop.  Back then, I had really dark red hair.  The sun had shone on my hair just right and it thought I was probably the biggest, tastiest flower it ever saw.   Many nights after that, I swear those little buggers were just waiting on me to come out.  Three or four of them, felt like a swarm, dive bombing me in the head.  I would have to run back inside and tie something around my head for protection.  I actually thought of sticking a cooking pot on my head for a protection helmet.

So why am I now trying to attract them to my patio?  You might have noticed in previous pictures of me on this here blog, my hair is no longer a bright, dark red.  Mostly it is various shades of grey and the rest the Tucson sun has bleached blonde.  I hope, I'm no longer a target.  I really do love hummingbirds, just not when they're attacking me.

The north western hummingbirds migrate this way in the winter, so I'm researching on how to attract them.  Thus I have a sad little hibiscus and some butterfly bush seedlings.  One site I read said, they drink the nectar to give them energy to catch bugs, their main meal.  To think of them as flying fly catchers.  That's another thing I don't like about it here.  It doesn't get very cold, so we have houseflies year round.  I tempted to invite the hummers inside for a real meal. Anything that eats bugs is a great friend to me.  I also got excited when I saw a tiny lizard hanging out in my planter.  Bug Eater!  He was gone when I came back with the camera.

To answer a question, Teresa asked about my new job.  What will my job be?  Well, I'm working for an international call center and their client is a national pharmacy chain that I'll be taking their phone calls and servicing their customers.  They make it seem like it has to be all top secret so that's all I'll say.  Except, we are supposed to promote the company for new hires.  If you  apply and put my name as a referrer, I get bonuses after you have worked there for various increments of time.  They have locations around the country US, plus various other countries and a work at home department (your computer and internet connection have to meet their requirements) (obviously mine did not).  So if you're interested, send me an e-mail and I'll tell you how to apply.

It's said that you really have to work hard at getting fired from this company.  However, being seen on carpet with a cell phone or any recording device out and that's immediate termination.  We were all joking about taking a picture of the trainer standing by the pharmacy logo sign and posting it to Facebook. The trainer was mostly joking about it saying, you'll get us all fired.  I thought about "getting Dooced" just for saying I work there on this blog. For those that don't know, she's a now famous blogger for getting fired for blogging about her job.  Except since that's been done before, so chances are highly unlikely that I get rich and famous for being fired.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment.  Hopefully my little story made you giggle or at least smile.  It's funnier when I tell it in person.

First Day Of Kindergarten

Actually, it's the first day of my new job.  It sure feels like the first day of kindergarten as I am both excited and apprehensive.  Excited to get out the house yet then I remember I can't sit around in my nightgown watching Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Rogers.  Oh wait, I'm regressing.

It's a means to an end, in that I will be able to save for the refresher course and get my nursing license.  As I haven't worked as a nurse in twelve years, I would want to take that course.  So much has changed in a decade, I'm sure.  Plus save for a down payment on a house.  I've always wanted to own my own home and I've been discouraged that at 45 I still don't have the one thing I've wanted.  Bad decisions and people in my life have been my downfall.

As you can see from the picture above, my roses are in full blown and still there.

My seedlings have all started to sprout except for the parsley.  The lid is supposed to come off now and the seedlings placed in the sun.  The parsley will just have to deal.  I suppose I'll give them just a couple hours in the sun every morning, so as not to burn them up.  It's still pretty hot, Saturday it was 105F/40+C.

The yellow/green crew have grown up.  Mama Myrtle on the far right, Tweety and Baby (they are mostly yellow with light yellow/green bodies) Norm/Norma, then Yertle on the left.  In the back left is Mr. Bird and Meanie.  In the far right, back perch is Junior taking a nap.  On the green perch at the top is Cassidy.  In a few weeks we'll be getting a big flight cage then the Mean Green Team will join up with the Bad Blue Crew from the other cage.   If you could see some the tricks they play on each other, I'm just glad I'm not a bird in either cage.

I didn't get very much done over the weekend.  Organizing didn't happen.  I believe I was afraid I would find a bunch of toys I might want to play with only to have to start work.  As it was, I spied two cross stitch pictures I wanted to work on when I moved a pile of fabric.  If you could see all the wips I have your eyes would bulge out.  I bet I could post a different wip picture every Wednesday for two years and not have to take a stitch.  Yes, I am that bad.

Speaking about wips, I'm going to write my WIPW post next and have it scheduled to post tonight at midnight eastern time.  You know, while I'm still at work.  Then hopefully tomorrow morning I'm not too exhausted to tell you all how my first day at kindergarten work was.

Thanks for stopping by.

FO & Fiber Arts Friday

My last free Friday, for who knows how long.  Next week I'll be working.  This FO has been technically finished for awhile.  However, I just skeined it off  my plying bobbin today.  The llama has been spun and I'm now plying.  The skein above is Tempted Fibers  merino/silk,  in colorway, can't remember, but I do have the tag around here somewhere.

This is part of the fiber that K brought to me in February when she came down for the day.  Since I have tons of handspun yarn, I told her I would spin it and give it back to her.  Hopefully, she'll be pleased with laceweight 909 yards approximately.  My goal was anything above 800 yards for the four ounces, as that is what millspun would be.  The llama should be finished this weekend.

While I was out this morning doing the boring shopping, cat food, cat litter and bird seed, we stopped at the yarn store that is conveniently on the way home.  The one on the left is another Pagewood Farms Yukon SW Merino/Bamboo/Nylon in the Navajo colorway and that one said, Baby Boy.  The other one on the right is K1C2 SW Merino/Nylon/Silk and it said Baby Boy.  When I got home I showed it to Duane and said, you know with the silk, maybe I should make my mother socks.

He said, he thinks it looks like it would make a nice small sweater to go with my new work tank top.  Except, I would need one more skein, at least.  I'm pretty sure they had another one or two and I've been trying to call them all day to see if they will hold it for a week or two.  While I was there, I heard them say the internet was out, so maybe that's why the phone keeps ringing.  Try again tomorrow and hopefully they still have it and will hold it.

My rose bud has decided to start to bloom.  I love them at this stage, just a bud starting to unfold.

The other one is thinking about it.  Let's see if they come up missing.  Hope not. Really hope not.

My bright pink geranium.

I'm feeling better today and organized the corner by my chair.  I've been wanting to do that since before Duane went in the hospital.  Of course, I organized it in my usual fashion by moving everything to the other side of the room. No picture, as all it is, is a blue tote with a few things on it.  Tomorrow, I will attempt the other side of the room and see how far I get.  Goodness knows where I'll move all that stuff over to.  Not the bedroom, I cleaned that last week.

For more Fiber and FO posts go to Wonder Why Gal and Tami's Amis.
